DOG BREED
This stunning and clever dog requires a lot of room to roam. Developed as a hunting, pointing, and retrieving gundog in the 19th century, this breed, often called the "Gray Ghost," behaves in a cautious and almost stealthy manner when in the field. Although the Weimaraner may be shy around unfamiliar people, it is a lively family pet that might be too exuberant for young children. Its graceful physique, appealing colors, and elegance in movement have played a significant role in the breed's popularity, both as a companion animal and a working dog, but it is highly active and needs an owner who can match its energy levels. There are two coat varieties: longhaired and shorthaired.
