DOG BREED
This magnificent Russian dog combines agility, grace, and a touch of wildness. The Borzoi, a large dog with curly fur and a nearly feline appearance, is arguably the most noble among the sight hounds. Formerly referred to as the Russian Wolfhound, it was bred to pursue wolves for the Tsars and the elite; often, over a hundred of these dogs would track wolves across the snowy tundra. For many years, the Borzoi has also been raised as a companion outside of Russia. Nowadays, this breed thrives in a typical home setting but requires extensive walks and exercise. Additionally, it necessitates regular grooming and baths to maintain the luster of its long, flowing coat.
