DOG BREED
This terrier is a courageous and intrepid hunter, yet it remains gentle and faithful with its family. Despite its small stature, this robust little dog is much more energetic than one might assume. Originating from County Wicklow, it was historically involved in badger trials until such activities were prohibited in the late 1960s. Today, the Glen of Imaal Terrier is a devoted and sensitive companion, provided that its owner is composed and assertive.
