This vigilant domestic dog possesses both speed and endurance. Originally bred to hunt hares and foxes, this breed likely arrived in Hungary with the Magyars more than a millennium ago. Although not as swift as the greyhound, the Hungarian Greyhound (or Magyar Agar) is robust and unflagging, requiring regular exercise. It serves as a devoted and protective friend.
