DOG BREED
The two breeds of Welsh Corgi have a long history in Wales as cattle herding and guard dogs. The more popular of the two breeds, the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, differs from the Cardigan Welsh Corgi by its slightly shorter ears and shorter tail. This alert and energetic little dog makes an excellent watchdog and enjoys family life. Their tendency to sometimes revert to their herding instincts and bite ankles can be reduced by early training. Pembroke Welsh Corgis tend to gain weight easily, so they need a well-regulated regime of diet and exercise.(Origin-UK)
