Also known as (Appenzeller Sennenhund), Bred for herding and guarding alpine farms, the Appenzell Cattle Dog has adapted well to city life. The breed has a strong following in Switzerland, but it is not yet widely known elsewhere. Curious, alert, and full of energy, Appenzells are at their best when kept busy and interested.
