CAT BREED
The breed originated in the United States during the 1930s, utilizing a parent cat that was imported from South-East Asia. In the late 1940s, numerous Burmese cats were transported from the US to the UK, where the breed developed a unique appearance. The European Burmese has a slightly longer head and body compared to its American version and is available in a wider range of colors. This affectionate cat requires plenty of love and should be an integral part of a nurturing family. The Burmese is not ideal for households where it would be left alone for extended periods.
