CAT BREED
In 1981, an unexpected mating between a lilac Burmese and a Persian Chinchilla resulted in kittens with stunningly beautiful coats, prompting their owner to try further breeding experiments. This led to the creation of the Burmilla, a cat that boasts elegant Asian features, large, appealing eyes, and a coat that can be subtly shaded or have a spiky texture; there is also a long-haired variant available. While still relatively rare, this lovely and intelligent breed is gradually gaining popularity. It inherits some of the quirky traits of the Burmese, softened by the serene demeanor of the Chinchilla. The Burmilla enjoys playful activities but can also curl up in a lap for a cozy nap.
