DOG BREED
Developed for hunting purposes, this breed possesses a good temperament if properly socialized. Originating in Cordoba, Argentina, during the 1920s, the Dogo Argentino was designed by a local physician who sought a dog suitable for hunting large game. This new breed emerged from the combination of old fighting dogs, including Mastiffs and Bulldogs. The Dogo Argentino is known for its gentle demeanor but may exhibit a tendency to be overly protective.
