CAT BREED
The initial Exotics were developed in the United States during the 1960s, and by the 1980s, a well-known British version emerged as well. These cats were produced through breeding programs that combined Persians (or Longhairs) with various Shorthairs, including the Burmese, Abyssinian, British Shorthair, and American Shorthair. Exotics feature a dense yet short coat along with the Persian’s adorable, round faces and a gentle nature that needs minimal grooming. These affectionate cats thrive as indoor companions and are always eager to engage in play or snuggle with someone.
