CAT BREED
The creation of this breed started in the 1950s through the interbreeding of Siamese and white shorthair cats. The initial hybrids in the UK displayed either orange or blue eyes, but through selective breeding, a lineage was established with solely blue eyes, leading to the name Foreign White. In the United States, cats can have either green or blue eyes, and they are viewed as a solid-colored variant of the Oriental Shorthair, referred to as the Oriental White. This appealing breed showcases the Siamese's distinctive elongated physique and vibrant personality. Many white cats with blue eyes have a genetic predisposition to deafness, yet the Foreign White does not have this issue.
