CAT BREED
The Peterbald, which originated in Russia, is a relatively recent breed developed by blending the Oriental Shorthair with the Don Sphynx. This breed displays a wide range of coat types, which can include being entirely hairless, covered in a soft fine down, or having a thick, coarse coat with a brush-like feel. Kittens that are born with fur may later lose their hair as they mature, although some may keep their soft downy coat. The Peterbald is known for its friendly nature and is suitable as a family pet. Hairless individuals or those with very short fur require protection from the weather and may be better suited for indoor living. Cats without fur may have skin that feels sticky and will benefit from regular baths.
