CAT BREED
The Savannah, recognized as one of the more recent cat breeds in 2012, was created from the unintentional breeding of a male Serval, a wild cat native to the African savannas, with a female domestic cat. This breed has adopted many traits from the Serval, such as a spotted coat, elongated legs, and large, upright ears; however, its personality is what truly stands out. Known for its playful and energetic nature, the Savannah is constantly on the lookout for excitement—engaging in activities like splashing in water, rummaging through closets, or figuring out how to open doors. Because the Savannah can be quite demanding, it may not be the best choice for new cat owners.
