CAT BREED
A large cat with thick fur that takes a long time to mature completely. This breed, known as the Siberian cat, hails from Russia and has been around in various forms for centuries. The process of breeding Siberians to a standardized type only started in the 1980s, and it wasn't until ten years later that the breed received formal recognition after several cats were brought to the United States. Although still somewhat uncommon, the Siberian cat is becoming more popular due to its attractive looks and delightful personality. It can take over five years for a Siberian to achieve its full size. Even though this breed has a moderately sturdy frame as an adult, it is very agile and enjoys jumping and playing.
